Newborn Sessions

 

A calm and casual photography session capturing your beautiful newborn.

This session will take place over 60+ minutes in your home or my home studio. You will be gently guided through a variety of poses with your newborn to tell the story of your family.

 
 

HOw to book your NEWBORN session

Choose your location

I usually recommend the session takes place in your own home as you and your bub will feel more relaxed.

It also helps tell the story of you and your newborn in a more personal way. If you believe the lighting isn’t suitable, the shoot may take place in my home studio.

Choose your time

Newborn sessions take place in the morning between 9am and 12pm. Over the years, I have found this works best for most bubs, while also providing the most amount of time.

Choose your collection

In addition to the Newborn Session fee of $175, a Collection must be purchased. 

Collections start from $500.

What should we wear?

Your outfit choice has a big role in setting the tone of your images. A comprehensive guide to outfit planning will be sent to you upon booking. This will help ensure your family has a beautiful, cohesive look without being too matchy-matchy!

How long is a newborn session?

Allow 2 hours for a Newborn Session. They usually require a lot of extra feeding, changing, burping and rocking to sleep.

Once you have booked, you will receive a preparation guide for your session via email. This ensures we’re able to maximise the most time out of the session.

How many images will be provided in our online gallery?

It can be tricky to give an exact number due to a variety of factors. However, for a Portrait Session or Newborn Session you can expect around 80 images to choose from in your gallery. For a Mini Session, you can expect around 40 images.

What happens if we get sick?

If you or your little ones are sick, I am more than happy to postpone the session. If possible, please give me 24 hours notice and I will move your booking to the next available date.
